Sparrow

Wide,
like the opened eye
of this sparrow
limited to fly,
inside a narrow
cage.

From the cloudy sky,
above a dark sand
beach, into the black woods
of burnt trees.
I feel the beats
behind my eyes,
blood begins
to sing.

This is me, this is me,
and all those breasts
and hips I’ll never be
jump and shout
around my street.

Little bird who ate no more,
I didn’t misbehave at all.
The more you are,
the more they want
to put their finger on.
